This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm someone’s custody status, arrange a release, post bond, or retrieve official booking records. For those services, contact the responsible government office directly.

For an official answer, use the following route rather than relying on a secondary listing or a private search result.
- For present county-jail custody, use the Chisago County Inmate Search or call the jail. A live roster result can change after release or transfer.
- For a Sheriff-held incident, booking record, or photo, contact Records Management and use the county’s Information Disclosure Request form.
- For a report made by an independent city police department, request it from that city department. A city report and a county-jail booking are different records.
- For a court case, charge filed in court, hearing, or disposition, use Minnesota Court Records Online.
- For a person in state custody or under state supervision, use the Minnesota Department of Corrections public viewer, not the county jail roster.
- For custody notifications, VINE is the county-linked notification option. CodeRED is a community-alert app. Neither is a booking-photo source.
